Passover Is Coming

Jerusalem, 11 April, 2024 (TPS-IL) -- Kretshnif Chassidim prepare the dough to bake Matza – unleavened bread – for the Passover holiday which begins in 11 days. Anything made from grains in any form other than Matza may not be eaten or even be in ones possession during the week ling holiday.

The Kretshnif Chassidim are named for the city of Crăciunești in present-day Romania. The sect was founded by Rabbi Meir Rosenbaum in the late 19th Century.
