PHOTOS: Israel Remembers the Fallen of the Altalena

Jerusalem, 19 June, 2019 (TPS) -- President Reuven Rivlin (L) and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (R) attend the official memorial ceremony commemorating those who were killed on the ship Altalena in a firefight in 1948.

The ceremony took place at Tel Aviv’s Nahalat Yitzhak cemetery.
