Police Close Down Meron to Lag B’Omer Visitors After Massive Attempts by People to Enter Illegally

Jerusalem, 19 May, 2022 (TPS) -- After last Year’s disaster saw many people killed, authorities limited the number of people allowed to enter the holy site of Meron this year on Lag B’Omer. But on Thursday many people arrived without tickets to enter and broke down the barriers there, so the police shut down the site entirely.
