Police Secure the Damascus Gate During Ramadan

Jerusalem, 11 March, 2024 (TPS) -- The Israel Police increased security in Jerusalem during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Here police can be seen at the Damascus Gate entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem at the end of the first full day of the month in which devout Muslims fast during the daytime.
After sundown they hold a celebratory meal to break the fast.
