Preparing for Yom HaZikaron, Remembering the Fallen

Jerusalem, 12 April, 2021 (TPS) -- Ben Zvi High School in Kiryat Ono prepared for Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day) by creating a memorial wall for the 24 school graduates who fell during their military service, since the school was established in 1969.

“The school educates its students to love the country and feel a commitment to its fallen,” said Principal Tzipi Rosenbaum. “This year we experienced this up close when we lost the son of one of our faculty members… We embrace the bereaved families and convey the message that we are with them on this day and hope that families will no longer join this circle.”
