Preparing to Be Kosher for Passover

Jerusalem, 8 April, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Israelis are preparing for the Passover holiday, which begins Saturday night and has much stricter dietary rules than the rest of the year. Even ovens must be made kosher for Passover after they were used for Hametz (items made from leavened bread) during the year.

Here a man uses fire to make the metal frame of an oven range kosher for Passover.
