Religious Leaders Convene in Jerusalem to Decry Violence Against Women

Jerusalem, 3 December, 2019 (TPS) -- Leaders of all the major religions in Israel convened at the Notre Dame Hotel in Jerusalem on Monday to decry violence against women.

various religious figures attended, including Sheikh Mawafek Tarif, the spiritual leader for the Druze Community, Dr. Iyad Zahalka, Director of the Sharia courts, and Rabbi Eliezer Simcha Weiss, a member of the Chief Rabbinate Council.
