Terror attack North of Jerusalem Sunday

Jerusalem, 21 April, 2024 (TPS) -- IDF forces and ambulances on Alon Road near Kokhav HaShahar in the Binyamin Region, north of Jerusalem on Sunday, where a local resident in active military reserve service was slightly injured by shrapnel when an explosive device exploded. The device was thrown at him when the reserve soldier tried to take down a Palestinian flag.
Israel Defense Forces conducted searches for additional explosive devices in the area.
Israel is on heightened security alert as the Passover holiday is set to begin Monday night while the war against Hamas terrorists in Gaza continues.
