Thousands Visit Rachel’s Tomb on Anniversary of Her Death

Jerusalem, 11 November, 2024 (TPS) -- Throughout the day, thousands crowded the tomb of the foremother Rachel –wife of Isaac – which is located in Bethlehem to mark the day of her death. The tomb compound is separated from the city by a wall and is covered by a dome to protect it from terror attacks. Travel to the site is limited for security reasons.
