Tisha B’Av 2024 in Jerusalem

Jerusalem, 14 August, 2024 (TPS) -- Thousands of Jews arrived on Tisha B’Av eve at the Western Wall Plaza in the Old City of Jerusalem to read the Book of Lamentations on the ninth day of the month of Av in the Hebraic calendar. The fast of Tisha B’Av mourns the destruction of the two Temples by the Babylonians and by the Romans.
