Ultra-Orthodox Continue to Protest Against Military Draft

Jerusalem, 30 June, 2024 (TPS) -- Ultra-orthodox (Haredim) in Jerusalem blocked roads during Sunday evening’s rush hour to protest against the drafting of people from their communities into the Israeli military.

The Israel Supreme Court ruled unanimously last week that the members of their community must serve in the Israeli military just like everyone else.
