Ultra-Orthodox Prayer Session Against Women Dressing Immodestly in Public

Jerusalem, 25 July, 2024 (TPS) -- Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox men on Wednesday held a prayer session/rally in Jerusalem on Agripas Street opposite the entrance to the city’s famed Mahane Yehuda open market – the Shuk. The prayer session was held in protest of plans to make the street a pedestrian-only zone due to concerns about women walking by all day in immodest dress.
