World Class Soccer players in Tel Aviv for Friendly Match Between Argentina and Uruguay

Jerusalem, 20 November, 2019 (TPS) -- The Argentinean and Uruguayan national teams faced each other on Monday in a friendly match at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv.

The Argentinean national team includes many internationally acclaimed soccer stars, including Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero and Ángel Di María. The Uruguayans also feature some of the world’s top players, such as Luis Suárez and Edinson Cavani.

The game, which has previously been canceled due to pressure from anti-Israeli BDS activists, was almost canceled again due to the renewed rocket fire from Gaza last week.

Despite the many obstacles, the match took place in Tel Aviv as planned.
