10,022 New COVID-19 Cases in Israel

Jerusalem, 19 January, 2021 (TPS) -- The Ministry of Health updated Tuesday that it documented 10,022 new COVID-19 cases over the past day.
Of the 100,694 tests done on Monday, a very high 10.1% returned positive.
A high number of 1,174 patients hospitalized with Corona are in serious condition, 304 of them are on life support.
Over 2,185,289 Israelis have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, some 24.5% of the population.
Some 152,000 people were vaccinated on Monday, 59,700 received the first dose, and 110,250 the second dose.
4,060 Israelis have died of the virus.
