Abbas to Attend Peres’ Funeral

Jerusalem, 29 September, 2016 (TPS) -- The President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmmoud Abbas has sent a request to the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, and to General Yoav “Poli” Mordechai, commander of the Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria, requesting to be permitted to attend the funeral of former Prime Minister Shimon Peres.

The request is currently being processed by appropriate authorities.
