American PR Businessman Killed in Car Accident in Tel Aviv

Jerusalem, 19 June, 2016 (TPS) -- Alan Weinkrantz, a public relations specialist from Texas, was killed Saturday night in central Tel Aviv while out on dinner.

Weinkrantz was hit by a car that crashed through the sidewalk on the popular Ben Yehuda street Saturday evening, killing him along with the driver and a father of three from Ashdod.

Police believe that the driver, a 41 year old man from Ra’anana, suffered a heart attack which caused him to lose control of his car, which crashed into tables at the Asian restaurant Furama.
