Jerusalem, 22 October, 2019 (TPS) -- An Arab resident of Jerusalem on Monday night was critically wounded by a firebomb thrown at the car he was driving in by Arab terrorists.

He was driving on a road near the Arab village of Isawiyah when his car was hit by the bomb.

The man was extracted from his car by Israeli forces who evacuated him to an Israeli hospital for treatment. One of the police officers who helped extract him was lightly injured.

Israeli forces operating in the area arrested eight suspects while rioters threw rocks and firebombs at them and launched fireworks toward them.

The police stated it will “use all the means at its disposal to reach any suspects who endanger the safety of civilians, road users and police forces, to arrest and prosecute them for their actions.”
