Attempted Stabbing Attack in Gush Etzion Junction

Jerusalem, 1 December, 2015 (TPS-IL) -- An attempted stabbing occurred on Tuesday morning shortly before 8:00 AM, at Gush Etzion Junction which has lately been the scene of many terrorist attacks.

A Palestinian terrorist, identified as 17-year-old Rad al-Hatib from Bethlehem, attempted to stab an Israeli civilian at the junction, and was shot and killed by IDF forces.

An Israeli citizen passing in his car, aged about 35, was hit in his hand and chest by ricochets from the gunfire and was lightly to moderately wounded. He was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem.
