Attempted stabbing attack thwarted near Hebron

Jerusalem, 5 November, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- A Palestinian was shot at a gas station near Hebron on Monday, after reportedly trying to carry out a stabbing attack.
According to the IDF, the attempted stabbing attack took place at the Elias intersection, at the entrance to Kiryat Arba in southern Judea.
“An IDF soldier thwarted an attempted stabbing attack after identifying a terrorist who was trying to stab civilians and an IDF officer,” the IDF said in a statement. “The soldier responded by firing and neutralizing the terrorist, who was evacuated by ambulance to hospital for medical treatment.”
No Israeli troops or civilians were injured in the attempted attack.
