Jerusalem, 29 August, 2018 (TPS) -- The Bank of Israel kept its key interest rate unchanged at 0.1 percent on Tuesday, but hinted that after keeping the rate frozen for the past three-and-a-half years, an interest rate rise may be on the way. The BOI said it intends to maintain its accommodative policy as long as necessary in order to entrench the inflation environment within the target range. It noted however that the rise in the inflation environment continues and is moving toward entrenchment within the price stability target range.
