Jerusalem, 19 April, 2016 (TPS) -- The Jerusalem District Court convicted Yosef Chaim Ben David on Tuesday morning of kidnapping and murdering Palestinian teenager Muhammad Abu Khdeir in 2014.

Ben David, 29 years old from the community of Adam, was the central suspect of committing the murder, and his verdict was delayed to determine his mental state.

His two nephews, 16 and 17 years old, were convicted in January of helping commit the murder. One received a life sentence, while the other minor was sentenced to 21 years in prison after the court ruled that he played a smaller part in the murder.
