Concealed Gun Found in Package of Dates During Security Check

Jerusalem, 26 June, 2016 (TPS) -- A gun concealed in a package of dates was confiscated minutes ago during a security check of baggage at the Allenby crossing between Israel and Jordan. The baggage belonged to a Palestinian woman, driving with a Jordanian passport,  heading through the Allenby Crossing on the way to Jordan. Two empty cartridges and a box of bullets was also confiscated, and the suspect was transferred for questioning by security forces.
