Jerusalem, 3 April, 2016 (TPS) -- Meir Ettinger, a Jewish far-right activist who has been under administrative detention for the last seven months, will not attend his son’s ‘Brit Milah’, a Jewish ceremony in which eight-day old male babies are circumcised.

The Beer Sheva District Court rejected Ettinger’s petition to receive a short vacation to attend the ceremony, due to take place on Monday, April 4. The court explained its decision by stating that it considers Ettinger to be dangerous.

Ettinger is considered a leader among ‘hilltop youth’, right-wing activists in Judea and Samaria, and is being held in solitary confinement without presented evidence against him.
