Defense Minister Yaalon: “Agreement With the USA on Budget for Next Decade Will Hopefully be Reached Soon”

Jerusalem, 22 February, 2016 (TPS) -- Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon visited the USS Carney, a battleship belonging to the US army, in Haifa during a joint military drill by the US army and the IDF. Yaalon, who was invited by the US Ambassador in Israel Dan Shapiro, said during the event the Israel “has conducted negotiations in recent months to preserve its security in the Middle East. The goal is to reach an agreement on the budget for the next decade, and I hope we will achieve this over the coming weeks.”
