Defense Minister Yaalon to Hamas: Do Not Continue To Test Us

Jerusalem, 9 May, 2016 (TPS) -- Against the backdrop of mortar shells fired from Gaza in the direction of IDF forces last week, Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon issued a warning to the Hamas terrorist group that controls the Gaza Strip not to inflame or escalate tensions with Israel.

“The IDF and various security forces will respond aggressively to any firing from the Gaza Strip,” stressed Yaalon. “If the firing continues, it will lead us to respond even harder against Hamas and the other terrorist organizations in Gaza until they realize that it’s not worth it for them to challenge us.”
