Family of Missing Teen Who Entered Gaza Protests Reconciliation With Turkey

Jerusalem, 26 June, 2016 (TPS) -- The family of Avera Mengistu, a mentally unstable Israeli-Ethiopian who crossed into Gaza on September 7, 2014 and has been missing ever since, is setting up a protest tent outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office in Jerusalem. At conern is Turkey’s relationship with the Hamas terrorist organization.

“My brother is ill, mentally disabled and held contrary to all international conventions by the Hamas organization,” said Avera’s brother Ilan. “Avera is still alive. He is my brother, and the brother of every one of us. Have we forgotten him?”
