Jerusalem, 17 March, 2019 (TPS) -- The family of Rabbi Achiad Etinger, who was critically wounded in Sunday’s shooting attack at the Ariel Junction in Samaria, has issued a request asking the public to pray for his recovery.

Rabbi Etinger is currently hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit and is in critical condition after being shot in the head.

Etinger, 47 from Eli, is the father of 12 children, one of whom serves in the elite Nahal Recon Unit.

He was shot while sitting in his car at the junction. He drew his weapon and was about to shoot at the terrorist when he was struck by the terrorist’s bullets.

Please pray for Rabbi Avhiad Ehud ben Karmit.
