Former PM Ehud Barak: Boots on Ground Needed to ‘Crush’ ISIS

Jerusalem, 23 March, 2016 (TPS) -- Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak called on the international community to “crush ISIS on the ground in Iraq, Syria, and Libya” in an interview with Channel 2 television on Wednesday, March 23. Barak, who also served as Defense Minister from 2007-2013, described sending in ground troops “to deal with the root” of the terror group as the only way to prevent future attacks on Europe, such as Tuesday’s deadly bombings in Brussels.
