Six police officers injured in Jerusalem stabbing attack

Jerusalem, 15 November, 2018 (TPS) -- At least six police officers have been injured in a stabbing attack at a police station in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood in southern East Jerusalem.

Five of the injured are believed to be border police while the sixth is a police officer, who was hit by shrapnel during the attack.

All were transported to Shaare Zedek hospital with light injuries. Aside of the police officer, all five border police officers were released subsequently after being treated. The police officer remains in hospital after having surgery on his arm to deal with his shrapnel wound.

The terrorist was neutralized on the scene and remains in serious condition.

Later in the evening, police raided Jabel Mukaber including the terrorists home and arrested five members of his family.
