Gaza Resident Arrested, Charged With Smuggling via Kerem Shalom

Jerusalem, 11 December, 2016 (TPS) -- State prosecutors filed an indictment in the Be’er Sheva Magistrates Court against a Gaza resident, Raed  Simlah, who is accused of a series of security crimes against the state.

According to the indictment Simlah had a permit to enter Israel for work, but upon returning to Gaza he transferred mechanical equipment via the Kerem Shalom crossing and sold the materials to Hamas members responsible for digging terror tunnels.
