Jerusalem, 12 February, 2020 (TPS) -- Gaza-based terrorists on Tuesday night launched a rocket towards Israel’s south. The rocket exploded in an open space, causing no injuries or damage.

The IDF did not respond to the attack.

Terrorists have fired 12 rockets in the past 12 days at Israel, and over 25 since the beginning of the year.

Earlier in the day, terrorists continued their launch of balloons tied to explosives into Israeli territory. Explosions were heard at various locations in the south, but there were no injuries or damage caused by the attacks.

The booby-trapped balloon attacks continued despite reports that Hamas had decided to halt the attacks.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in an interview with Channel 20 that Israel was “preparing for Hamas the surprise of its life,” and that the timing for the surprise depended on Hamas’ actions.
