Herzog: “The Door Has Closed” on the Opportunity of Zionist Union Joining the Government

Jerusalem, 23 May, 2016 (TPS) -- Zionist Union Chairman and Opposition Leader Isaac Herzog rejected Netanyahu’s recent statements offering him to join the government even though Liberman has been named Defense Minister.

“Netanyahu, in response to your recent offers to renew the negotiations about us joining your government, I would like to clarify in public what I told you in person,” wrote Herzog on Twitter. “The door has closed. This chapter is over. You are bound by the biggest extremists and we will fight you and them.”
