During the Night: IDF Arrest 10 Wanted Men in Judea and Samaria, and Respond to Shots Fired From the Gaza Strip

Jerusalem, 6 September, 2016 (TPS) -- The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated that IDF and police forces arrested 10 wanted men during the night throughout Judea and Samaria,  nine of whom are suspected of involvement in terrorism and violent riots directed at Israeli civilians and security forces. They were all taken in for questioning.

The IDF additionally seized in a fireworks store of Surif, near Hebron, flammable detonators and fireworks used to manufacture explosives. The store was closed and the equipment transferred to the relevant security forces.

The IDF Spokeperson’s Unit also announced that shots were fired early in the night at IDF forces engaged in routine patrols near the border fence of northern Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported. The IDF forces responded by firing at two positions belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization.
