IDF Arrests Suspects, Confiscates Funds in Counter-Terrorism Raids

Jerusalem, 10 June, 2019 (TPS) -- Israeli forces over the weekend and the holiday on Sunday arrested 12 wanted Arab persons suspected of involvement in terrorist activities and violent disturbances against civilians and IDF soldiers.

Israeli searches for illegal weapons in the villages of Beit ‘Awwa and al Khader in the Judea and Etzion brigades yielded three weapons along with ammunition.

In addition, forces searching the Arab village of Amatin in the area of ​​the Samaria Regional Brigade confiscated terror funds worth tens of thousands of shekels.

“This activity takes place as part of the campaign against funds used for terrorism,” an IDF spokesman stated.
