IDF exposes fourth Hezbollah terror tunnel crossing from Lebanon into Israel

Jerusalem, 16 December, 2018 (TPS) -- The IDF confirmed early on Sunday morning that it had found a fourth Hezbollah attack tunnel crossing from Lebanon into northern Israel.

This comes as Operation Northern Shield enters its third week. Its aim is to find and destroy Hezbollah attack tunnels, enters its second week.

In a statement, the IDF said: “The responsible for the digging of the tunnels falls on the Lebanese government. This is a serious violation of Resolution 1701 and the sovereignty of the State of Israel.

“The route of the tunnel is controlled by the army and poses no threat,” it said.
