IDF Forces Attack Syrian Targets in Golan Heights

Jerusalem, 4 July, 2016 (TPS) -- An IDF spokesperson confirmed that the IDF attacked two targets in Syria over Sunday night in response to unusual firing in the direction of the border fence in the Golan Heights. The IDF spokesperson added that no nearby residencts or members of the IDF were harmed and emphasized that Israel takes no sides in Syria’s civil war.

“The army does not intervene in the fighting in Syria, but is determined to defend and react to any unusual incident,” the spokesperson stated.
