IDF Makes 27 Arrests, Finds Weapons During Raids

Jerusalem, 4 September, 2018 (TPS) -- The IDF together with Border Police and theĀ Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) arrested 27 wanted Palestinians on Monday night in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Those arrested are suspected of being involved in terrorism-related activities, incitement and violence against civilians and soldiers.

During a raid in the East Jerusalem village of Abu Dis, weapons including large knives and a pistol were seized.

In addition, during raids in the West Bank villages of Al-Majd, close to Hebron, andĀ Dura al-Qari’a near Ramallah, the IDG seized three vehicles worth thousands of shekels believed to have been acquired for terrorism purposes.

The IDF stated that the raids were part of a continued campaign against funds used for terrorism.
