IDF Officer And His Driver Arrested For Stealing Weapons

Jerusalem, 9 August, 2016 (TPS) -- Shadi Bashir. a company commander in the IDF’s elite Bedouin Reconnaissance Unit was arrested along with his driver for allegedly stealing 77  grenades and 15 LAW missiles, Israeli authorities cleared for publication on Tuesday. The duo are suspected of stealing the weapons from the Sde Teman base near Beer Sheva.  They reportedly intended to sell the weapons to crime families, and will be indicted on Thursday.
