IDF: Soldier Injured From Gunshots on Lebanese Border

Jerusalem, 26 October, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- An IDF soldier posted near the town of Metula in northern Israel was hurt on Wednesday afternoon by gunshots fired from Lebanese territory.
According to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the shots were fired from a passing vehicle towards an IDF force engaged in routine activity near the border fence. The soldiers returned fire and hit the vehicle.
A soldier was lightly wounded in his hand and was taken to a hospital to receive treatment.
