IDF Soldier who Shot and Killed a Subdued Palestinian Stabber Starts Testifying in Court

Jerusalem, 24 July, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- Elor Azaria, the IDF soldier who was filmed shooting and killing an already subdued Palestinian stabber in Hebron several months ago, has started testifying at the military court in Jaffa. He is being questioned by his own lawyers and will then be cross-examined by the military prosecutors. He is being charged of manslaughter.
All relevant prosecution witnesses have already been questioned during the trial, including IDF soldiers and officers, members of the Criminal Investigations Department in the army, and photographers from the B’Tselem organization.
