IDF Soldier Wounded in Bethlehem Operation

Jerusalem, 2 September, 2019 (TPS) -- IDF soldiers on Sunday night carried out a counter-terrorism operation in Bethlehem. During the operation, a violent riot ensued, during which Arab rioters threw rocks and fired fireworks at the troops.
A soldier was lightly wounded in the incident and was taken for medical treatment at a hospital in Jerusalem. The other soldiers responded with crowd dispersal means.
In related news, Israeli forces operating in Judea and Samaria arrested 22 wanted men suspected of involvement in terrorism and violent riots.
In addition, IDF forces operating in the Samaria area seized terror funds worth NIS 10,000.
