Jerusalem, 11 December, 2019 (TPS) -- The Ministry of Social Affairs and the IDF’s Home Front Command on Wednesday are conducting an exercise in some 600 of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare’s frameworks that simulates a massive rocket attack on the country, the IDF stated.

The exercise is aimed at increasing emergency preparedness and is planned in advance as part of the 2019 training graph, the IDF noted.

The exercise will simulate a missile attack scenario and the entering of protected spaces.

As part of the preparations for the exercise, IDF lecturers on emergencies briefed the participants in the exercise.

“The Home Front Command will co-operate with the Inspectors of the Ministry of Welfare and the Framework Managers to enable the construction of a snapshot on the preparedness and preparedness of the welfare frameworks in Israel,” the IDF stated.
