Initial: Stabbing Attack in Jerusalem, Assailant Escaped

Jerusalem, 11 August, 2016 (TPS) -- A stabbing attack was reported shortly after 2:30 p.m. in A-Tur, an Arab neighborhood in Jerusalem. The reports indicated that an Israeli man was stabbed with a screwdriver near a Jewish residential home, and that he was fully conscious. Magen David Adom teams said he was in light condition, and were transporting him to Shaare Zedek hospital.

The police said forces were at the scene of attack. The stabber was said to have escaped the scene.
