Israel Arrests Islamic Jihad Member Suspected of Planning Shooting Attack

Jerusalem, 10 August, 2016 (TPS) -- The Shin Bet announced that Israeli forces have arrested Ahmed Abu-Rub, a 27-year-old member of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization who lives in Qabatiya.
According to the Shin Bet, it has collected evidence that the Palestinian man was involved in planning a shooting attack towards an IDF outpost near Mevo Dotan in Samaria. Abu-Rub is also suspected of being in contact with sources at the Islamic Jihad headquarters in the Gaza Strip.
