Israel Foils Attempt to Smuggle Wetsuits Allegedly Meant for Hamas Commandos

Jerusalem, 20 June, 2016 (TPS) -- Inspectors for the Land Crossings Authority seized dozens of professional wetsuits at the Kerem Shalom Crossing on Monday, suspecting that they were sent to terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip, including Hamas’s naval commando unit.

“The wetsuits were concealed in a seemingly innocent shipment of sportswear,” said a statement by the Israeli Defense Ministry.”The shipment was seized and an investigation has been launched to discover who was involved.”
