Israel Indicts Hamas Member for 18 Offenses Including Attempted Killing of IDF Soldiers

Jerusalem, 1 May, 2016 (TPS) -- The Southern District Prosecutor has indicted a 24-year-old member of the Hamas terror organization at the Beersheva District Court.

According to the indictment, the manĀ faces 18 charges for “committing many grave offenses against Israeli security.” These include placing explosives directed against IDF vehicles with the intention of killing soldiers, shooting missiles and mortars at IDF bases and outposts, and smuggling weapons from Egypt through tunnels.
