Israel Indicts Teenage Terrorist for Murdering Dafna Meir in her Home in Otniel

Jerusalem, 22 February, 2016 (TPS) -- Murad Bader Abdullah Adais, a 16-year-old Palestinian resident of the village of Yatta, was indicted on Monday, February 22 at the Youth Military Court in Judea. Adais is charged of murdering mother-of-six Dafna Meir in her home in the Judean community of Otniel on January 17.
According to the indictment, Adais watched Meir talking on the phone with two of her children nearby, and charged at her when she was standing at the entrance to the house. He stabbed her many times in her upper body until she collapsed. He fled the scene after he could not manage to extract the knife, made his way back home, cleaned the blood from his hands and watched a movie.
Adais was eventually caught after a two-day manhunt conducted by the IDF.
