Jerusalem, 19 June, 2016 (TPS) -- Following yesterday’s decision by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, the IDF has sent firefighting plane to Cyprus to help put out a massive brush-fire.

Three firefighting planes took off on Sunday morning, along with a cargo plane carrying firefighting equipment, to combat the fire in the region of Paphos.

During the big fire in the Carmel region several years ago, Cyprus was the first country to aid Israel by sending firefighting planes.
