Israeli Couple Killed in Private Plane Crash in Greece

Jerusalem, 14 September, 2021 (TPS) -- An Israeli couple was killed Monday night when the private plane they were flying toward Greece crashed.
The Cessna 182 Skylane they were flying took off from an airport in Haifa and crashed at the island of Samos.
The reason for the crash is unknown, but a technical problem is suspected as the cause.
The two bodies were recovered by Greek authorities.
According to Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority sources, a search and rescue operation was launched to recover the remains of the plane.
