Israeli Supreme Court Maintains Conviction of Islamic Movement Leader

Jerusalem, 18 April, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- The Israeli Supreme Court rejected an appeal to overturn the conviction of Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the northern branch of Israel’s Islamic Movement, for incitement to violence and racism. However, the Court lowered Salah’s time of imprisonment from 11 months to nine months.
